Q. Why was my Interlibrary Loan (ILL) renewal denied?

Some libraries simply do not grant renewals to materials they lend.

It might be because their users need the material or because of their policies.

Unfortunately, we cannot influence how long they are willing to lend an item for (or if they will renew the material).   

One option you have would be to place a new ILL request for the same material and have it possibly come from another library.
