Enrollment period for Fall 2020 has closed.  Please check back in January of 2021.

Need a Computer for College Coursework? Apply Now for Student Laptop Loan Program

TCC students enrolled for Fall will be able to check out a laptop from the Library as part of a new loan program, if they meet eligibility requirements. The Student Laptop Loan Program is designed to assist students who demonstrate a financial and academic need for a laptop.

Laptops will check out for the entire semester. You must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered:

• Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours per semester. Students who drop below 6 credit hours will be required to return the laptop.
• Enrolled as a degree-seeking student at TCC
• Demonstrated need for a laptop for your coursework

To apply, complete this form: . The supply of laptops is limited and will be available for pickup beginning September 1, 2020 through the TCC Library at Metro campus.

Laptops will be checked out on a semester-by-semester basis.  Students may recheck laptops for up to one calendar year, without having to bring the laptop back to the Library, provided they are consistently enrolled in at least six hours.  It is the student’s responsibility to contact the Library to re-new laptops each semester.

Laptops will be checked out in good condition with a charger and instructions on how to print, connect to Wi-Fi, and how to get assistance if needed.  Also provided at checkout will be information about the TCC Library Hotspot @ Home program or free/low-cost internet options.

Laptops will be checked to make sure they are in good condition upon return using a laptop return checklist, which will be part of the laptop agreement form. Students must reserve 30 minutes for the laptop return process.  Staff must document any damages to the laptop on the laptop return checklist.
