  • Library staff will work with the Bursar office and IT when necessary to determine fee amounts and to apply fees to student accounts.

  • Laptops are due back to the Library no later than one week after the end of the semester they were checked out.

  • A fee of $20.00 is assessed each day the laptop is late for up to seven days. After seven days, the laptop will be considered lost and the cost to replace the device and associated components will be assessed to the Student’s bursar account. If the Student returns the device in good condition within 30 days of the date, the replacement fee will be removed, however, the late fees totaling $140.00 still apply.

  • The Student is solely responsible for the entire replacement cost of a device and/or components that are lost or damaged, including labor.

  • Students may not externally alter the laptop in any way. Alterations, including application of external skins or stickers, or removal of existing labels, will be considered damage and result in charges for repair including labor.

  • Any charges will be sent to the Bursar’s Office for collection and may prevent a Student from registering for classes, obtaining diploma/transcripts, and/or graduating until paid in full.

  • Optionally, devices not returned may be reported stolen to Campus Police.

  • If the Student's enrollment drops below six credit hours, the device must be returned immediately.
