Physical material typically arrives within the span of 1-2 weeks after your request, but it may take longer. It all depends on the availability of the item and the policies of the lending library. Some books are rarer than others, or some items are in high demand. It may take us time to find a library willing to lend and additional time for the lending library to send it through the mail, typically at the library rate.

For article copy requests or scan requests, the average turnaround time is a few days, but might be the same day depending on a number of factors. They are usually sent electronically and do not have to account for mail time.

You can log into your library account to check the status of your interlibrary loan request.

You can access your Library Account by clicking on My Library Account on the Library's home page. It's on the right side, under the big search box.

From within your library account, click on "Requested" to see the status.

Please see this page for more information.
