Q. I am looking for databases for my nursing class.

If you haven't been told to use a specific one, you might check out this FAQ that teaches you how to use the catalog to find articles.

We have several excellent databases with journal articles for nursing such as CINAHL, Health Source Nursing/Academic, and more.

The Nursing Research Guide includes these resources plus many other resources that offer additional information on nursing. 

On the library's website, you can also find links to nursing database under Articles & Databases webpage, you can filter to find databases relevant to the Health Sciences.

Note that you will be prompted to sign into MyTCC to access the library's online resources.

For medical/clinical research, Trip Database is a free online tool (there is a subscription version) that pulls free content from the web and categorizes it, helping you quickly scan resources that would otherwise take more time if done in, for example, a Google search. It will allow you to filter for material categorized as "primary research" and so on. It can help you quickly find resources that will work for your assignment, though you can still find the content free online and will need to know how to distinguish between the resource types in the results (not all will be peer reviewed results).
