TCC has cloud printing, so when you send your print job from a TCC computer, it will not automatically print from the machine. Your job(s) are waiting for you in a queue. You have to log into the printer and ask it to begin printing. You also have to log into the machine if you want to use it as a copier or scanner (scanning turns the document into a PDF to send to an email).

Instead of printing automatically after you send your job, your print job waits for you in a queue at ANY printer on ANY campus, because this is cloud printing. The first time you scan your ID card at the machine in order to access your print jobs, you will need to use the touchscreen to enter in your TCC ID and MyTCC password. From then on, your ID card will be associated with your login information and you won't need to type it out again. The next time, you can just scan your ID card.

To scan your ID, find the location on the top or side of the machine that either says "Scan Badge Here" or has an icon for where to scan. Scan your TCC ID and then log in to have your ID card associated with your account from then on. This could save you time in not having to type on the touchscreen in the future to get to your queue:

Please note that print jobs default to black and white unless you change the settings before you send your job. Feel free to ask any library staff at the desk for help in printing!

Here is a short video of what it looks like the first time you scan your ID card:
