Yes, the professor will reserve the DVD for the class. DVDs that are on reserve are available for viewing at the campus where you're attending class.
However, reserve materials do not check out from the library (ensuring that the DVDs you need to view will be here when you need them) but are used on library premises. The library has a DVD player to use at any computer station.
