Q. Does the library have audiobooks available for checkout?

Yes!

One way to browse our collection of audiobooks is by searching for "Audiobooks" in the Discovery Catalog search bar on the Library Homepage and then limiting to "Audiobooks" on the left hand side bar. Or, use a keyword search involving the title if searching for a specific book or genre if wanting to browse and then limiting: 

You can also borrow ebooks and audiobooks to read on your computer or mobile device using Libby by OverDrive. Libby is also an app for mobile devices, or you can just listen in your computer's browser. It’s free and easy to get started! Libby titles also show up in our Discovery catalog search (see example above). 

We no longer have the Playaways as audiobooks, but we do have some on CD available for checkout. Many are part of the ESL collection and can be checked out with abridged print material. Most of those are at the Northeast Campus library.
