If a registration hold has been placed on your student account for library fines, it probably means you have overdue books, HLLP devices, or other library items with replacement fees totaling $300 or more.

Steps you can take to resolve the situation:

  • Talk to library staff at any of our campus library locations to find out why a hold has been placed on your account.
  • Once the items have been returned (if undamaged) or renewed, library staff can contact the Bursar Office to have the hold and any fees removed.
  • If you have lost or damaged a library item, you will be charged a repair or replacement fee, which can be paid at the campus Bursar. Once the fee has been paid, your hold can be removed. Please ask the Bursar to let someone at the library know so that the fees can be removed from your library account.
