Where you search might depend on what type of article you are looking for. Articles can range from popular to scholarly.
Use the Library's Catalog, Discovery: You can search the Discovery Catalog on the TCC Library's homepage to find both popular and scholarly articles. Then, use the filter on the left side to limit to "Articles." The Discovery Catalog searches a lot of our relevant databases all at once. When using the catalog, you don't have to stress about choosing a database (though you can), because it will search many of them by default! Learn tips on how to use the catalog here.

To choose a database directly: Go to the TCC library homepage; find and click on Articles & Databases for an A-Z list.
The article databases are listed in alphabetical order and can be filtered by subject. (Use the search fields to choose the database that best fits your topic.)
Select a database and type a keyword (or keywords) that relate to, or express, your topic into the search box.
(You will be prompted to sign into your MyTCC account prior to the database opening.)
Some good general databases to try include Academic Search Premier and Academic OneFile - these are both general databases, which means they should have some information on many different topics.
For more help finding articles, see our Library Guide for Students. You can also schedule a consultation with a librarian.
