The TCC Library, like most academic libraries in the U.S., uses the Library of Congress (LC) Classification System to shelve books by subject (in contrast to the Dewey Decimal Classsification System). In this system, each letter stands for subject area. Books on similar subjects will be shelved next to each other. See links below for more information.

Remember: Library staff can always help you find the location of an item! You don't have to find it on you own.
