Q. I put in my flash drive in the USB port but the computer isn't pulling up my files!

If the computer will not recognize your flash drive, here are some things you can try:

• Make sure the flash drive is plugged in to the port all the way. The computer will not detect a flash drive if it is not properly plugged in.
• Remove and reinsert the flash drive.
• Try using a different USB port. Sometimes additional USB ports can be found on the back of the computer, or on the computer monitor.
• If the flash drive is plugged into a USB port on the computer's monitor, try using one of the ports on the computer itself.
• Restart the computer to see if that resolves the issue.
