As if Fall 2026, TCC has adopted an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy and supporting guidance to help employees and students understand expectations for responsible AI use across the College. Whether you are already using AI or just getting started, these resources can help you understand TCC’s approach and make informed, responsible decisions about AI use.

• TCC College-Wide AI Policy – Available on the TCC website at this page (scroll down).

• AI Guidelines – Practical guidance and best practices for employees. Available on MyTCC under Employee → Procedures and Tools → Institutional Effectiveness.

• Handbooks– AI-related information incorporated into applicable employee, faculty, and student handbooks.

  • TCC AI Handbook Updates, attached, provide a quick reference to the applicable changes.

• Library’s AI guide – While not new, this guide provides information on AI tools and educational materials suitable for a variety of roles. It also contains links to the AI Policy, Guidelines, and Handbook language in one convenient place.
