Q. I need to convert a file, or create a file, or edit a PDF. Can the library help me?

Depending on what the situation calls for is, yes, we may be able to!

While not all of us are proficient in all software (and be sure to check if we have it on our computers or not), many of our Library staff at our desks can help you convert a file such as a Word doc to a PDF. We also have scanners that are part of our printers in the library, which will turn the hardcopies into a PDF. Our PC support specialists might be able to walk you through using software or hardware as well, though please feel free to ask us to see if we can't help first. If you need OCR added to a document, you can reach out to the Access Services office.
