If the default database is not working, such as because of a broken link, it is important to know you can try other database links for access in the below area if available. Or, you can pay attention to the name of the database that is supposed to hold a specific item and search through it directly after finding it on the A-Z list, to try to find the material, possibly using indexing. This might work if the correct links to the material have been migrated but the catalog's information about them was not updated. It is a workaround, and you can still report the broken link through the catalog.

The blue button that says "Access Journal" or "View Full Text" or "View eBook" goes to our default database's result to the material. To know which that is, scroll down in the result to the "Access Online" section to see all the databases (sometimes there is more than one!) which provide access to the material and the years of coverage it has access to for non-ebooks (coverage can differ, depending on the agreement the publisher has with the database):

Clicking on the default access button will take you to the first databases listed in the "Access Online" list. Choosing one that has the widest coverage dates will grant access to more articles. We chose one from the expanded list as an example, which takes you to that database where you can use the "search within this publication" feature to search within this specific journal for your topic to find an article.
