If you got an email saying "Request has been updated for ILL" it was because interlibrary loan staff had to either 1) change the edition or format because we could not find a supplier with the original citation information or preference or 2) we had to correct the citation information because it was incomplete or incorrect. You can review the version we are now requesting under your library account by going to the "Requests" tab and selecting the hyperlinked "Request details" of the item. There, you may be able to see changes to aspects like edition or ISBN information.

These changes are sometimes made if we cannot find enough libraries which hold a specific version willing to lend, if licensing will not allow for the material to be shared in a specific format requested (such as most ebooks, which will be changed to print versions), or if the request was lacking information that would help track the veracity of an item (such as adding or updating an ISBN for a book loan or a periodical title for an article copy request).

Please be aware that to speedily process requests, we need the following information:

We do NOT need the following, as they are not really helpful in finding a library which holds the material (ie a supplier library):

For uninterrupted response time and to avoid cancellations, we make these changes on your behalf. If the change we made means the material cannot be used, please feel free to cancel the request or reach out to InterLibraryLoan@tulsacc.edu with clarifications or questions.
