Officially booking a consultation (opposed to a walk-in, which does not guarantee a librarian) typically reserves a whole hour with a librarian, but on average they are around 20 minutes. It depends on the librarians' schedule and who you're booking with, as well as how long you need! Selecting the "i" icon next to the name of the librarian will allow you to learn more about them and what they are able to offer (a popup will appear):
