Many of our research guides recommend books on the topic or subject area they cover. That's a good place to start!

Also, browsing our stacks in a particular subject area is helpful. Our library shelves books about similar subjects next to each other, according to the Library of Congress classification system. Learn more about that here.

Searching the catalog and limiting to books can also give you some good recs!
