Q. What is the library's policy on noise? Can I talk in the library?

The TCC Library is a collaborative space across all 4 campuses, so talking is permitted, but we do you ask you to be mindful of noise levels. For those wanting quieter areas, however, many of our library locations have designated quiet areas of study as well as study spaces you can book to escape distractions. Contact your campus location to learn where those areas and spaces are.

Many locations have white noise machines running, to help noise blend in. We also ask that audio be played through headphones, available at the circulation desk.
