There are many things you can do that might help in selecting a major or career direction. Focusing on what you like to do, what you are good at doing, and what’s important to you in a job are three key components that can assist in making your decision. Think about what you love to do and what you get excited talking about, consider volunteer work or a part-time job in a field of interest, talk to others doing what you would love to do, and join a student organization related to the field you are considering. The more you know about yourself, and the more you know about different occupations, the better decision you can make.
