Does the GI Bill® pay for books?

Answer

No, students using Post 9/11 Benefits will receive a book stipend to assist with the purchase of books.  These funds may or may not cover the total cost of books. Students are required to pay for their books.

GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government website at http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill
