If a hold has been placed on your account, it probably means you have a book or books that need to be returned. Steps you can take to resolve the situation:

  • You can talk to the library staff at any of our campus libraries to find out why a hold has been placed on your account.
  • If you have books that need to be returned, once you do so, the library staff can remove your hold.
  • If you have lost a book, you will be charged a replacement fee, which can be paid at the campus Bursar. Once the fee has been paid, your hold will be removed.
