The library has many resources you can search for information about a historical person. Try the following suggested types of resources and databases that you can search on the library's website.

Encyclopedias & Dictionaries
You can use this link to Oxford Reference Online to search specialized history encyclopedias and dictionaries for brief articles about a person's life and influence.

Magazines and journal articles:
1. Go to the library's website
2. Select Articles & Databases
3. Find All Subjects and select History. You'll see a list of suggested databases that offer full-text articles from journals. JSTOR is a good database to find full-text journal articles on history topics.

Books or biographies to check out
Search for full biographies about a historical person's life within the main search box on the library's homepage.
