To find suggested databases and resources on controversial issues, use the Research Guides Controversial Issues and Opinions, Opinions: How to Find Them. Both of these Research Guides will provide search strategies with a list of online and print resources that offer different viewpoints available via the TCC Library.

The Library has several article databases with pro and con viewpoints on a variety of topics and controversial issues. Learn about article types here, however, as your instructor may require a specific kind.

Beyond the library databases, the online website AllSides offers a Red Blue translator that is an alphabetical list of political topics/words. It offers a definition of controversial terms that may be helpful in your research.
