You can find movie reviews in newspapers or magazines. Sometimes those are also published online and discoverable with something like a Google Search. But, if you are looking for reviews in the TCC Library or run into a a paywall, keep reading!

The database of newspapers Newspaper Source Plus or the magazine/journal database Academic Search Premier might be good places to start. Or, simply typing in the title of the movie plus the word "Review" in a Discovery Catalog search will search through a lot of our databases all at once, including the two mentioned above. You can learn more about searching the catalog here.

Both Ebscohost databases have a publication & document type feature on the search screen that limits your search results to reviews in the newspapers and magazines.

See the step-by-step tips below on how to limit your search results to only movie reviews. Additional steps on how to access the databases are listed below.

Tips on how to find only movie reviews in these two databases:

1. Look for Search Options.
2. Find Document Type.
3. Select Entertainment Review then type in your keywords in the search box at the top.

To access these databases:

1. Go to the library's website.
2. Select  Articles & Databases.
3. Select the letter N to access Newspaper Source Plus or select the letter A to access Academic Search Premier.
