If the computer will not recognize your flash drive, here are some things you can try:
- Make sure the flash drive is plugged in to the port all the way. The computer will not detect a flash drive if it is not properly plugged in.
- Remove and reinsert the flash drive.
- Try using a different USB port. Sometimes additional USB ports can be found on the back of the computer, or on the computer monitor.
- If the flash drive is plugged into a USB port on the computer's monitor, try using one of the ports on the computer itself.
- Restart the computer to see if that resolves the issue.
